Le
Torteau has a large (around
2 acres) pretty garden with a wealth of fruit trees
some of which are very old.
Guests
have access to a large
boules area and
there are many seating areas in which to enjoy the
garden, whether in the sun or shade. There is
also a
small potager (vegetable plot) from which guests are welcome to pick their own
vegetables, herbs and fruit dependent on the season of their
stay. There are many
apple trees, cherry trees and a walnut tree from which guests can pick
fruit.

Walking out of the lounge onto the
terrace, guests can enjoy endless views of the
rolling countryside, a lovely place for breakfast, lunch or dinner, a
suntrap and perfect
position to watch the sunset. There are steps leading down from the
terrace into the garden.

parking Adjacent to the property within the
gated garden is a graveled drive which can
easily accommodate a number of cars.
